Telangana
1. If the exit poll predictions turn out to be true, we may be in for a surprise for Telangana. Predictions say that the Congress may come to power and push the current ruling party, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, to the second position, while the Bharatiya Janata Party may come a distant third. This will be the first time since Telangana's formation in 2015 that K Chandrashekar Rao is still the chief minister of the state. This is also the first time since KCR's party, which was formed in 2001 to claim a separate state, joined the country and was renamed as Bharat Rashtra Samithi.
2. According to India TV-CNX exit polls, Congress is expected to win 63-79 seats in the 119-member assembly, while BRS is expected to win 31-47 seats. Jan ki Baat predicts that Congress will win 48-64 seats, BRS will win 40-55 seats and BJP will win 7-13 seats. TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat exit poll predicted a close contest for Congress with 49-59 seats and BRS with 48-58 seats. Republic TV-Matrize predicts a tight competition between Congress with 58-68 seats and BRS with 46-56 seats. India Today-I Axis is yet to release Telangana data.
3. According to media reports, Madhya Pradesh received the support of the BJP. The Congress rejected these predictions as Kamal Nath said that the nation was formed by images and not by television. Ahead of the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh spoke about Axis I India's polls predicting many seats incorrectly for the BJP and wrote: "Doctor Can you help us give the correct number?"
4. According to Axis My India estimates, the Bharatiya Janata Party will remain in power with 140-162 seats in Madhya Pradesh. Congress will get 60-90 seats. The India TV-CNX exit poll predicted that the BJP would win 140-159 seats and the Congress 70-89 seats. Times Now-ETG gave 105-117 seats to the BJP and 109-125 seats to the Congress. Republic TV projects the BJP to get 118-130 seats and the Congress 97-107 seats.
Rajasthan
5. According to voters, Rajasthan will witness a fierce fight between the BJP and the Congress, where minor parties and independent candidates will play a role in forming the government.
6. India Today - I Axis sees Rajasthan as a close contest between the BJP and the Congress; BJP has 80-100 seats and Congress has 86-106 seats. India TV-CNX analysis predicts 94-104 seats for Congress and 80-90 seats for BJP. Current time-ETG polls predict Congress will get 56-72 seats while BJP will get 108-128 seats; This is a big difference. Jan Ki Baat polls gave 100-122 seats to the BJP and 62-85 seats to the Congress.
Chhattisgarh
7. Congress is likely to retain Chhattisgarh but BJP will follow suit. Current president Bhupesh Baghel said that Congress strength will increase only on counting days and 57 will become 75.
8. Axis I India polls predict 40-50 seats for Congress and 36-46 seats for BJP. ABP C-Voter expects Congress to get 41-53 seats and BJP 36-48 seats. Republic TV's exit poll showed Congress with 44-52 seats and BJP with 34-42 seats; India TV-CNX polls predicted Congress to get 46-56 seats and BJP 30-40 seats.
Mizoram
9. Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) is likely to wreak havoc in Mizoram and destroy the Mizo National Front. Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party finished third and fourth in this race.
10. According to India Age Axis I India analysis, ZPM is expected to win 28-35 seats and MNF is expected to win 3-7 seats. According to Times Now-ETG, this will be a close contest with ZPM contesting 10-14 seats and MNF 14-18 seats. Jan Ki Baat poll shows MNF with 10-14 seats and ZPM with 15-25 seats. India TV-CNX analysis predicts 14-18 seats for MNF and 12-16 seats for ZPM.
